The Gun Room

The Gun Room was established in 2004 and is owned by Rob Hall, a well-known many times England and GB capped clay shooter who has turned his shooting interest into a successful business. Rob’s youngest daughter Lucy Hall has also followed in his path by taking up competitive clay shooting, she shoots Olympic Trap for Great Britain and has won multiple international medals.

Located at Holme Upon Spalding Moor, approximately 8 miles from Howden and the M62 in the East Riding of Yorkshire, the Gun Room specialises in guns, rifles, cartridges/ammunition and an extensive collection of country clothing, footwear and accessories. Shopping couldn’t be easier with ample free parking and friendly professional advice over a coffee.

As a Premium Beretta dealer, Browning, Miroku and Perazzi stockists with a large number of new and secondhand guns in stock, there must be a gun to meet your specific needs, regardless of the type of shooting, level of experience and budget. If you are a rifle shooter, The Gun Room stocks all leading brands including Tikka, Sako, and Browning. Combine this with clothing and footwear from Musto, Le Chameau, Ariat, Penelope Chilvers and Laksen and you will stand out from the crowd!

Whether you are a clay or game shooter, we want you to shoot to the best of your ability with a comfortable correctly fitting gun. As standard, we check gun fit and eye dominance as part of any shotgun sale. However, buying ‘off the shelf’ products will often mean that some alterations are required to get the best fit. We offer an alteration service which includes shortening stocks, cast, adjustable combs and fitting of recoil pads.

For those customers wanting the perfect fit, we can organise escorted trips to Beretta and Perazzi for custom made/bespoke guns and Manuel Ricardo for custom made stocks where you can shoot your unfinished stock on the range to ensure accuracy of fit. This is not just a purchase; it is an experience.

Unfortunately, guns and rifles do breakdown. We offer a repair service and can arrange loan guns for the interim.

Subject to a valid shotgun licence, you can try any used gun prior to purchase at East Yorkshire Clay Shooting Ground, near Beverley which is operated by the Hall family.

We also have a number of demo guns where we can offer the same facility.

The Gun Room is the UK importer and distributor of Corsivia Clays which are manufactured in Spain. They are available to purchase by the box in store or larger quantities can be couriered direct to you.

We also import Tagami Skeet vests. Available in a range of colours and sizes as standard, these Japanese skeet vests can also be designed to be fully bespoke to you, with you able to choose bespoke colours, materials and designed to your size.

We import direct from the USA, Pilla shooting glasses. Sets, arms/frames and individual lenses are all available to purchase. We always have the Outlaw range instock in X6 and X7, and all other ranges are available to order.
