Online Purchasing Terms

  • We endeavour to ensure that the description and specification of products are correct. However, specifications and descriptions of products on this website are not intended to be binding and provide a general description of the products.
  • Whilst the colour reproduction of the products should be a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.
  • Prices and availability of items are subject to change without notice.
  • All prices include VAT at the current rate.
  • A delivery charge, where relevant will be added to your order value.
  • Items purchased are for your own personal consumption and are not for resale.

If you wish to cancel an order, you are able to do so up to the point of despatch and your payment will be refunded.

Delivery is usually one of two methods: courier or Royal Mail. All parcels will require a signature, so please make sure that you have made arrangements to take delivery of the goods. All items will be despatched within 2 working days if in stock, or otherwise you will be notified by email of the despatch date. Please note that for remote locations in the UK, delivery overseas and during busy periods, deliveries may take longer and it is outside our control.

Customs and Duties

You are responsible for any VAT, tariff, duty, taxes, handling fees and customs clearance charges imposed by your country for importing consumer goods. We do not collect this beforehand and cannot give you an estimate of the cost - charges vary around the world. It is your full responsibility to verify the customs, duties charges, and procedures in your country prior to placing your order. If customs fees and charges are refused at the time of delivery, your order will be returned and you will not receive a refund for shipment costs.

Returns Policy

If you are not satisfied with any item that you have purchased from us and wish to return it, please do the following:-

  • Fill in the return form which was enclosed with your purchase.
  • Copy your receipt.
  • Securely wrap your item enclosing the return form and copy of your receipt. Post it to the return address shown below. We strongly recommend posting ‘signed for/recorded delivery’ to enable the parcel to be tracked and the item insured for the purchase price. You are responsible for the entire cost of return postage and we are unable to refund items lost in transit.

Refunds are subject to the following conditions:-

  • Goods must be returned within 14 days of delivery.
  • The goods must be unused, in original condition and complete with all original packaging/tags.
  • Items obtained as a special order or with personalisation cannot be returned/refunded.

Damaged goods must be notified to us within two days of delivery and any warranty claims will be in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.

We endeavour to process refunds as quickly as possible, however, please allow 10 working days for any refunds to appear back on your payment method

Notwithstanding any other provision of this User Agreement, we will be liable to you without limit for any death or personal injury caused by our negligence and to the extent that liability arises under Part 1 or section 41 of the Consumer Protection Act 1987 and for liability arising from statements made fraudulently by us.

Either of us may terminate this User Agreement at any time. You may not transfer any of your rights or delegate any of your obligations under this User Agreement without our prior written consent. If we fail to enforce any provision of this User Agreement, that failure will not preclude us from enforcing either that provision (or any similar provision) on a later occasion. Nothing in this User Agreement shall confer on any third party any benefit or the right to enforce any term of the User Agreement. This User Agreement is governed by English law and any dispute connected with this agreement is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. When you purchase products from us either online or instore, we ask you for your name, address, contact telephone number, email address (online sales only) and payment method/details.

For shotgun/firearm sales and purchases and cartridge/ammunition sales (in store only), you will need to show your current shotgun/firearms certificate/licence.

Why do we collect this information

For on line orders, we use this information to fulfil our contract with you ie to process your payment, deliver your goods and communicate the status of your order.

For shotgun/firearm sale or purchase and cartridge/ammunition sales (in store only), we use your certificate/licence to validate your identify, the entitlement granted by the police and that it is still current.

We will not release any personal details to any third party, unless required to do so by law. For all shotgun/firearm sales and purchases, we have a statutory obligation to notify the relevant police authorities of all such transactions and we do this via Guntrader software.

What do we do with your information?

Your information is stored in our order processing system which is based with the European Union.

Your credit card details, depending on which company you use are passed to a third-party payment processor. We use two payment gateways of which is one is based in the USA and is certified to the EU-US Privacy Shield (which requires effective safeguards for your information) this being PAYPAL The other gateway is protected under EU law and based in the UK SAGE PAY, we as a business do not retain your credit card information and as such these companies become Controllers.

We use various third party couriers to deliver your goods and share with them your name, address, telephone number and e mail address in order to complete your delivery where applicable.

We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

How long do we keep your information for?

As a customer, we will retain your data for the minimum amount of time required to meet our legal and obligatory requirements.
